Earning the Kansas Insurance Certificate from the Kansas Financial Services Leadership Program unlocks possibilities and invigorates your resume.
To empower your future with the opportunity for scholarships and meaningful connections to influential employers, simply take four courses aligned with your major as you finish your degree.
The certificate requires successful completion of 12 credit hours from courses approved at your university as part of the Financial Services Leadership Program.
First
you’ll complete a program specific, introductory level course worth three credit hours.
Next
you’ll complete three approved courses determined by each institution for a total of nine credit hours.
The courses could come from categories like life and health insurance, financial planning, property and casualty insurance, retirement and employment benefit planning, sales and data analytics, and include any financial services or insurance related internship.
Finally
you’ll list your certificate prominently on your resume. Employers will know that you have the foundational knowledge that brings value to their company.
